Challenges and targets
The Charter The Big Kitchen – A Global Response To Urban Food Challenges was the outcome of the very first Food Summit in Copenhagen 2016. More than 100 international profiles within politics, business, and gastronomy from all over the world agreed upon key challenges and solutions on how to ensure better food for more people. The Charter emphasizes gastronomy as a tool to ensure safe, healthy, and tasteful food, and as a promoter of better information and prevention of food waste. In 2017 the outcome is a "Roadmap to 2030". The roadmap is focused on concrete priorities and actions that are necessary in order for us to meet the 2030 targets linked to the four themes: Better Information, Safer Food, Food Diversity and Prevention of Food Waste.
