The purpose of the World Food Summit is to create partnerships and solid word-wide solutions to ensure better food for more people in the growing urban population. CEOs and directors of the participating corporations acknowledge the need for global strategic partnerships and they are ready to take actions. Their engagement in the Better Food for More People movement and in the World Food Summit is essential to achieve strong and long-term solutions.

As Michiel Bakker, Director of Global Food Services, has put it “More and more people are facing obesity, heart disease and diabetes, while many still go hungry. Food availability and food safety are issues that impact us all. That’s why our vision is to have an impact beyond Google."
