 International multi-stakeholder platform concerning sustainable food solutions in Bella Center Copenhagen

Knowledge sharing, cooperation and ownership are the prerequisites for creating solutions for the food challenges of the world. In order to gather dedicated actors the annual World Food Summit – Better Food for More People in Denmark is expanding with a new international forum about sustainable food solutions.

The new venue at Bella Center Copenhagen makes room for even more people across nationalities and fields of expertise to find solutions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and especially the global challenges concerning information about food and nutrition, reduction of food waste, food safety as well as food diversity.

The World Food Summit – Better Food for More People is the central forum for discussing food challenges of global relevance. It is here that actions can evolve and take place, for it is here that International political decision-makers, leaders of industry, experts, students and gastronomy frontrunners meet to develop partnerships and solutions that can be turned into international, national and local action.

On 30th of August a vide range of parallel sessions are taking place. The sessions are hosted by different organizations. The sessions are adressing solutions and best practices to ensure sustainable food systems and healthy lives to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, by focusing on:

- Better Information
- Safer Food  
- Food Diversity
- Prevention of Food waste

The sessions at Bella Center serves as a platform for interaction, insight and impact bringing together international, political decision makers, industry leaders and experts, as well as gastronomy frontrunners to discuss food challengs of global relevance and develop solutions to be turned into locally anchored actions across the globe.
